DAVID PYTCHES TO SPEAK AND MINISTER IN LINTON
31 Aug 2009

I'm delighted to announce that David Pytches will be visiting Linton for the first time to speak and minister at St. Mary's Church, Church Lane, Linton, CB21 4JX, on the evening of Friday 25th September (doors open at 7:30, service starts at 8:00). David was one of the founders of New Wine and Soul Surivor and was vicar of St. Andrew's Church, Chorleywood for many years during which time the Church saw many amazing moves of God. He is a published author and internationally respected speaker and we're very excited that he's agreed to visit. This will be a celebration of 3 years of healing services in Linton.

SOUL SURVIVOR COMES TO LINTON.
2 Jun 2009

Our next healing service in Linton will be held on the evening of Fri 26th June '09. The venue for this event will be St. Mary's Church, Church lane, Linton, CB21 4JX. Speaking and ministering on this occasion (we're excited to announce) will be Jeannie Morgan from Soul Survivor Church, Watford.

Jeannie has been ministering to the broken-hearted for 25 years. She has been part of the Soul Survivor leadership team since the Church began and has a pasion to see the Church of all ages setting the captives free. During the last ten years she has travelled in the UK and abroad, training up youth groups and Church congregations in both the healing ministry and leading workships in ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit. Jeannie is a seminar speaker at the Soul Survivor national and international festivals.

I have personally attended many of Jeannie's seminars over recent years while visiting the huge Soul Surivor summer events with members of our Church youth group and think she's amazing. She has a book out called "Let the Healing Begin" which I've recently read and could highly recommend.

The doors will open on the night at 7:30 p.m. and the service will start at 8:00. Admission is, as usual, completely free and all are more than welcome to attend. This is going to be an evening not to miss.

The healing services in Linton will be taking a break during July and August but we will be returning on September 25th (also at St. Mary's Church) with David Pytches visiting Linton for the first time to speak and minister. David was one of the founders of New Wine and Soul Surivor and was vicar of St. Andrew's Church, Chorleywood for many years during which time the Church saw many amazing moves of God. He is a published author and internationally respected speaker and we're delighted that he's agreed to visit. This is another one not to be missed.

NEXT LINTON HEALING SERVICE
2 May 2009

Our next healing service in Linton is to be held on the evening of Friday 29th May at Linton Free Church (URC), Horn Lane, Linton CB21 4HT. Our speaker for this occasion is Rev Randolph Vickers (founder of the Northumbrian Centre of Prayer for Christian Healing). The last time Randolph visited us we had one of the most amazing ministry times we've seen yet in the 3 year history of these services, a quite extraordinary move of the power of God.

The doors will open on the night at 7:30 and the service starts at 8:00. All are more than welcome to attend. Admittance is completey free though an offering will be taken during the service to help with expenses.

Randolph is the author of "The Anointing to Heal" and it's companion book "9 Basic Modules of Christian Healing," both of which are two of the best books I've read on the subject.

RECOMMENDED READING
13 Apr 2009

While I was away on holiday in Devon recently I read a great book called "The Hidden Power of Prayer and Fasting" by a guy called Mahesh Chavda.

Mahesh was a hindu but converted to Christianity many years ago and worked with Dereck Prince for many years. I won't go into too much detail but it's a book I cannot help recommending to anyone who's interested in making a difference through prayer. I found it hugely inspiring and it's really made me think.

Mahesh has found many occassions in his ministry where certain conditions or situations just would not budge until he mixed his prayers with fasting (he's seen some amazing results).

It really spoke to me because one of the first verses ever bought to me, when I'd only been seriously ill a few months was Mark 9:29 "This kind goes not out except by prayer and fasting". Prayer was indeed the only thing that made any difference to my health.

This is obviously a challenging subject when you're ill but Mahesh has found partial fasts to be equallly powerful to complete periods of fasting.

Anyway, I'm guessing you can get a copy through Amazon or your local Christian bookshops.

I cannot recommend it highly enough especially if you've been praying about something for a long time and don't seem to be getting any answers.

GOD BLESS.

ADRIAN.

12 Apr 2009

Linton Churches Together are delighted to welcome Jennifer Rees Larcombe back to Linton to take our April healing service. Jennifer was seriously ill with a virus that confined her to a wheelchair for 8 years. She was miraculously healed through prayer and now heads up a charity called "Beauty From Ashes" which offers support, counselling and prayer ministry to those needing emotional and physical healing.
The service will take place on the evening of Friday 24th April at St. Mary's Church, Church Lane, Linton CB21 4JX. Doors will open at 7:30 and the service will start at 8:00. Admission is free, (though an offering will be taken to help with the costs of the evening) and all are more than welcome to attend. There is parking in Church Lane but it soon gets filled up. Further parking can be found off nearby Coles Lane near the Linton Health Centre (watch the one way system).
Jennifer last visited us in June '08 and it was one of the most memorable healing services we've had in Linton since their beginnings almost 3 years ago. This is not one to be missed.

IS THERE LIFE AFTER DEATH? Jellyfish man Ian McCormack comes to Linton.
2 Feb 2009

Linton Churches Together are excited to welcome Australian born Ian McCormack as the speaker for their February healing service.
Ian McCormack was pronounced clinically dead after being stung by five deadly box jellyfish. He came back to life seconds before the surgeon was about to perform the autopsy.
Come and hear the powerful story of his life after death experience, a story that has been challenging and amazing audiences the world over. What did he see? What did he hear? Come and hear for yourself on Friday 27th February at St. Mary's Church, Church Lane, Linton, CB21 4JX.
Ian has also seen many miracles of healing through his prayers since his experience. As well as giving his story he will also pray for the sick.
To find out more about Ian visit www.aglimpseofeternity.org.
This is not one to be missed. I travelled to see Ian speak at a venue near where I live last summer and his testimony was one of the most powerful I've ever heard, delivered with real passion, absolutely gripping and it gave my faith a real boost. Many people the world over have come to faith in Jesus as a result of hearing Ian's story.
Please do come along and support this event if you're able to. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the service will start at 8:00. Admission is completely free and all are more than welcome to attend.
If you can't make it then please do remember us in prayer, praying that many will be drawn closer to God as a result of Ian's witness.
